Meet Shannon - Owner of Sunshine Cottage Rental Co.
I am a proud mom of 2, and dog mom to 3 yappy, but loveable pups! I am a girls fastball coach, a Jeep lover, and volunteer within my community in my spare time.
Prior to starting a vacation rental business, I spent 15 years in Human Resources Management and also managed my own property rental - which is a fulltime job! I am a TICO-certified Travel Manager and for the past 5 years I've operated a vacation rental management business. I am very proud of the business I've built, and thank all of the wonderful guests who continue to book with me, year after year.
I am very fortunate to have an incredible crew behind me, who I couldn't run this business without. We are already preparing for next season, and look forward to hosting you!
What's in a name?
You may wonder why "Sunshine"? The answer is two-fold, the first being most obvious. Everyone hopes for the sunshine on vacation! We are putting good vibes out there for all our guests! The second reason comes from my kids. Like many parents, I have been singing the classic "You are my Sunshine" song to my kiddos since they were babies. As I contemplated names with my family, my daughter shouted out "Sunshine" - and the new business was officially born!
